4 cups: Fresh, Orchard View Bing Cherries

4 cups: Fresh or frozen Tart Cherries

1 cup  Fresh or frozen raspberries

1/2 teaspoon: red food coloring

1/2 teaspoon: almond flavoring

Juice of 1/2 med-sized lemon

1 tablespoon: tapioca

The Topping;

1 cup: flour

1/2 cup: brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon: ground cinnamon

8 tablespoons: butter

1/2 cup: old fashioned oat meal


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Combine cherries and their juices with all ingredients

Bring to slow boil.

Pour into 9 X 9 square glass baking dish Sprinkle raspberries evenly on top

Combine flour, brown sugar, oatmeal, cinnamon

Work in cold butter until large crumbs form and spread over the fruit

Bake for 45 min. at 350 degrees F

Cool slightly before serving
