The View’s News – 4th Quarter 2018
Letter from the President
Hello Orchard View,
This time of year we are reminded of all the many people who make Orchard View possible. Thank you first and foremost to those that do all the work – our employees. You are part of the family and we appreciate all that you do. Thank you to our shareholders, families, growers and lessors – who stick with us through thick and thin. Thank you to the Board of Directors for your astute guidance and leadership. Thank you to the local community for supporting Orchard View and all the other local cherry growers by smiling through the chaos that cherry harvest brings to our quiet town. Finally, thank you to our customers. Thank you for purchasing our fruit and then coming back and purchasing more. It takes everyone in a community to be successful, thank you!
Cheers and cherry on into 2019! ~ Brenda Thomas

Orchard Report
The recent good weather has allowed us to make excellent progress on pruning and other winter work. This is great news and means we should be able to finish all the winter work in a timely fashion.

2019 will be bringing exciting new challenges to the orchard team. In addition to our normal spring and fall work we will be planting new orchards in a number of blocks. Orchard renewal is a necessary part of keeping Orchard View a top producer of sweet cherries.
